Semantic Satiation - is a psychological phenomenon in which repetition causes a word or phrase to temporarily lose meaning for the listener, who then perceives the speech as repeated meaningless sounds. This track explores the chaotic nature of depression and the continued cycle of feeling dead inside. You do everything in your power to be the “perfect” partner and mend the broken pieces. However, time progresses and the weight of that pressure becomes too much to bear. The constant repetition of hearing your partner apologize becomes meaningless and the relationship is left empty.
